Just wanted to leave a quick note to say I'm getting the hang of this sub-AT cardio work. It's actually pretty relaxing to know I'm going to go bike or run at the gym and not have to press myself so hard. It's so great to NOT have to push myself and actually have to slow down to keep my heart rate down and just jog. Great for the aerobic base, great for my mental training state, and great for the waistline. Sub-AT is the perfect zone for burning calories :) I think I'm going to really enjoy this for the next few months!
PS - So I joined the world of Facebook and it thoroughly distracted me from work most of the afternoon. I was flooded with friend requests, messages and wall posts. Pretty cool to get messages from people I haven't talked to or seen since HS.

Great news Kris! I'm glad you enjoy it. Now we need to convince Scott to give us a workout or two in Zone 2. ;-) I'll let you get right on that.
Merry Christmas!
Nice work Kris! It's hard to limit yourself, but sit tight in zone 2 because you'll spend a lot of time there next year! You'll keep going and going and going... hehe
Oh God - I'm trying to stay away from Facebook for that very same reason!
I just stumbled across your blog from Ms. R's, and I see you're doing IM WI! My wife and I did that in 2007! It's a BLAST! You can see our IM reports on either of our blogs.
Happy training!!
