Racing has become a very important part of my life. It takes a lot of dedication and a lot of focus but results in a real sense of accomplishment and puts me in great shape. Sharing this information helps keep my mind in the game and lets you read about my experiences :)

New PRs in the pool today

OK I'll make this quick as I need to get back to work but if I don't write it now, I won't remember. Here was our workout:

300 warmup
2-100 (@2:15)
8-100(@2:30) evens at fast pace
100ez
10-50(@1:20) 3, 5, 7, 10 are fast

My 4 fast 100's were 1:42, 1:40, 1:32, 1:25!!! I still am not completely believing that last one.
My fastest 50 was the last one and the only one I can remember 0:42.

Dana started swimming with me today as well so it's nice to have another friend in the lane. My left shin and IT band still seems pretty tight and was sore last night after a short run over lunch. So I may skip running Saturday morning and just go to the gym. Or sleep in......who knows :)
