Racing has become a very important part of my life. It takes a lot of dedication and a lot of focus but results in a real sense of accomplishment and puts me in great shape. Sharing this information helps keep my mind in the game and lets you read about my experiences :)

MN State Fair

So here's a quick recap of our trip to the State Fair. We chose to go on Sept 5th so that we could see Tonic Sol Fa on the free stage. Love these guys! There are very entertaining, compose their own music and can actually sing! After their performance we hung around to get a picture :)

(Mark, Jared, me, my Mark, Shaun and Greg)

And mom insisted we stop by to see the winning pumpkin. She's a little obsessed with pumpkins since her neighbor Deb is trying to learn how to grow her own State Fair "largest pumpkin"

Nothing to crazy exciting at the Fair. A run down of what we ate - We got their early grabbed some coffee, a cinnamon roll and egg/cheese/sausage stromboli for breakfast. Had a lemonade, tater twister, aussie potato fries (yay!), a bucket of Sweet Martha's cookies and some milk. Believe it or not, we actually left the Fair NOT feeling ill from over eating :)

We had a lot of fun walking around just about everywhere although we didn't make it into that back shopping area (next to the Midway and behind the Cream Puff stand for those of you that know the area). We probably would have stuck around a little longer but unfortunately I still had to get home for an hour run.
Oh and did I mention we went to the Eco Building? Yeah...sigh.....here's my man right here....
LOL

We got back to the bus loading area and to our surprise, instead of the usual black/brown buses, we had a double decker waiting for us. Sweet :)

I have more pictures posted on Facebook for those of you that are my friends on there.
