Racing has become a very important part of my life. It takes a lot of dedication and a lot of focus but results in a real sense of accomplishment and puts me in great shape. Sharing this information helps keep my mind in the game and lets you read about my experiences :)

Full Speed Ahead

OK it's been a few days since my last entry but my big excuse is that I've been busy :) I'm having a fantastic time training with my teams. Tahoe on Tuesday/Saturday and Lifetime Wed/Thurs/Sat. Lifetime didn't get to run last weekend due to extremely cold weather so I'm hoping it's better this week and I can get in a few miles. I have my half marathon coming up the beginning of May and I just realized a few days ago that the training plan I want to follow had me start running last week.....oops, guess I'll have to catch up :-P

Tonight is swim and I think I'll stick around again to swim with the second session, at least to help out or get in some extra laps.

Studies for my personal training certification are a little behind where I want to be but I'm still getting through it the best I can.

Oh, and I have locked in one of my fundraising events. I'm doing TIP night again in Waconia at the Pizza Ranch March 31 and April 14. Now I need to put together a crew to help me both nights :)

Great post Kris! Sounds like you've got this whole donation thing worked out quite well. A donation night sounds like a great idea!

Too bad you suck and didn't stay for the second session of swimming. That's okay. I learned some technique errors I had and made those corrections. So now I can beat you by more. :-P

You're right. I'm laughing out loud just writing this.

It must be boring to get comments from the same person. :-D I'm working on directing people to your site; the trick is getting them to leave comments.

When are we meeting for lunch?
