Racing has become a very important part of my life. It takes a lot of dedication and a lot of focus but results in a real sense of accomplishment and puts me in great shape. Sharing this information helps keep my mind in the game and lets you read about my experiences :)

After having some time away from my aerobic activity because of being sick, I spent 3 days just outside Seattle, WA for work this week. We were a little spoiled and got to stay in the Willows Lodge. Here's some pics from my room.

I had my second to last ski lesson last night. I had warming packets in my boots and I don't think I would have survived without them. Yikes it was cold! But I was having fun and was pretty excited because our instructor was working one-on-one with us and said I was ready for more advanced moves so I'm actually starting to feel like a real skier now :) Granted I'm not looking to ever race or anything, just doing it for something fun to do in the winter. Everyone in WA was telling me about Whistler so I'm really wanting to plan a trip to go skiing out there now :)

Wow Kris. You never told me you were staying in the lap of luxury. Next time you go on a trip, check if you're allowed to bring guests.

Your training schedule looks very nice. I'll put a more dignified calendar up but one is attached from my main page (I think). Or maybe it's my About Me page. Who knows.

Hope you're doing well. Happy training.

Oh, and if you're getting me into all this TNT stuff, you had better believe we're going out for some runs when the weather gets more cooperative.
