Racing has become a very important part of my life. It takes a lot of dedication and a lot of focus but results in a real sense of accomplishment and puts me in great shape. Sharing this information helps keep my mind in the game and lets you read about my experiences :)

'Tis the season for the sniffles

OK I'm just going to admit up front that while the holiday break from work was nice, I am a little stressed out right now and will do what I can to not let that interfere with my training. I'll leave out the details. %#&*(*^(^!#$%^^><()@% ok that feels better :-P

Well I really thought I missed out on having a cold this year but looks like I didn't get that lucky! Unfortunately not being able to breathe very well is probably going to keep me from swimming for a few days. Today was supposed to be a morning swim but I think I'm going to be off from training today. Still going to keep my strength schedule as is and maybe going to take a class or two of Yoga that a friend of mine teaches on Wednesday nights. My first harder strength session is scheduled for tomorrow so we'll see how that feels. TNT starts in a few weeks. That will be Wed night, Thurs night and Sat mornings for me starting the beginning of Feb. I have a few fundraiser ideas already in play so I want to try and get those scheduled soon too. I'd like to try and also list my events on this blog too so stay tuned :)

You sound like you're too busy for your own good. If I can offer a suggestion: Relax. You'll fit it all in. And everything will work out.

Did you check out my 2008 calendar? I still can't believe I'm doing all that to myself.
