Racing has become a very important part of my life. It takes a lot of dedication and a lot of focus but results in a real sense of accomplishment and puts me in great shape. Sharing this information helps keep my mind in the game and lets you read about my experiences :)

Pics from Home for Life Open House

Got some pictures from the Home for Life Open House and Blessing of the Animals ceremony. I can't explain how much I love getting to spend time here. If it wasn't over an hour away I think I'd be there every week. Below are a few photos from the photographer:

Here's me in one of my FAVORITE places. In one of the catteries with kitties all over me. That beautiful white cat on my lap is my Olive, the cat I've sponsored for two years now.

Here's just another fun "pose" with the cats.

One of the coolest parapalegic dogs with his "cruiser".

Here is another one of my favorites, Celeste. She had to have her eyes removed due to a birth defect but you would never know that she can't see when you meet her.

Here are more of the cats. One of the "jumpers" is the black and white one on my lap. If you are standing up, he'll stand in front of you and as soon as you make eye contact, he jumps up onto your shoulders and LOVES to be held. Rory is on the blanket and if you look closely you can see the orange cast on his back leg. Her story is one that always makes me cry, she was shot in the back and that rendered her incontinent and now a paraplegic. They take such good care of her keeping her wraps clean and she can scoot across the floor pretty quickly. She LOVES to have her back scratched since she can no longer do it herself.
